Where facts come from

Product facts come from the specification for that exact item. We publish the figure in the words the maker used, and we do not restate it, because a measurement put another way is a measurement changed.

Names

Every product name says how many, what it is and what colour, taken from the product's own description rather than from a keyword-stuffed title.

Counts and arithmetic

The pack count is the one in the manufacturer's own title, not rounded. The per-piece figure is the price divided by that count, so it is arithmetic rather than a claim.

Reviews, warranty and compliance

• Star ratings appear on 724 of the 753 products in the range, as buyers gave them, and reviews are quoted as buyers wrote them.
• Warranty, delivery and stock are stated at checkout by the retail partner.
• Compliance statements live on each product's own packaging.

Sources

The safety sections rest on the regulations themselves rather than on a summary of them. Every source is opened and read before a sentence is written against it, and the read date is printed next to the link. The full register is on our sources page.

Prices

Every page shows the day its prices were last updated. An item with no buyable price leaves the range until it returns.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, write to contact@leinuosen.net. We check it against the specification and fix the page. Corrections are made quietly and quickly rather than argued about.
